all the live long day...
so, life. how goes it? where goes it? we have so much authority in our lives, and it is so often that i dodge it so as not to be happy. procrastination has been my best comrade in self-destruction. opportunities come and go, and as long as i avoid them, they will just keep going. i am at a turning point in my life, and it is time to re-evaluate my direction, make some decisions and leap in faith in what direction that may be. an old, but favorite quote given to me several years ago by a very good friend.
"...Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the
chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.
Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation),
there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which
kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the
moment one definitely commits oneself, the Providence
moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that
would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of
events issues from the decision, raising in one's
favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings
and material assistance, which no man could have
dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep
respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."
-W.H. Murray
best to you all, and may you grow more and more each moment into the desires of your heart. as usual, big hugs and bigger love.
